Services Voyager/WordPress Websites

Voyager/WordPress

· Websites

A website built as infrastructure, not a redesign.

Voyager designs and builds WordPress sites that your team can edit without breaking, with structured data and AI crawler access built in, accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA, lead capture on every form, and four gates with evidence before each phase. Every site launches on our Managed WordPress Platform.

Four gates, each passed with evidence

  • Scaffold · the theme, the stack and the tracking in place
  • Design · approved on a live canvas or from the pattern library
  • Baseline · accessibility, speed and structured data measured
  • Launch · a quiet-window cutover and 24 hours of watching

Northern Neck Regional Jail: “The launch scan checked 61 pages and found 0 accessibility problems, and the site was certified to WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA on 10 August 2026.” Source: Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT 2.5, WCAG edition) and Equalize Digital Accessibility Checker Pro 2.2.0. 01 What goes wrong

Why most sites become the ceiling.

Handed over

Most sites are built to be handed over. The vendor disappears.

Page builder

The page builder breaks on the next update, and forms send leads nowhere.

Accessibility

The first accessibility letter arrives before anyone has checked.

The site ends up limiting everything you try to do with it. We build the other way: a site meant to be run, measured and extended, on a platform we operate from launch day.

02 Every build

What every build includes

No page builders. No hosting lottery. Your site and your export if you ever leave.

  • A child block theme on our parent theme. Your team edits the content; the layout is locked where it should be.
  • Structured data, an llms.txt file, AI crawler access and answer-first openers on every service page.
  • Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA, scanned and checked by hand on every template.
  • Lead capture on every form, with Google Analytics, Search Console and your Business Profile connected.
  • Four gates, each passed with evidence before we move on: scaffold, design, baseline, launch.
  • Launch on the Managed WordPress Platform, a 60-minute handover, and 30 days of defect fixes.

03 How it works

Four steps to a site that runs.

  1. Discovery From your Operating Audit, or a discovery week if you have not had one. Sitemap, content inventory, brand tokens.
  2. Design Pattern composition for Essential, or a custom design on a live canvas for Standard and up.
  3. Build Pages, content placement, accessibility, structured data, tracking.
  4. Launch A quiet-window cutover, 24 hours of watching, a handover session, and the platform takes over.

04 The bands

Four bands. Published prices.

eCommerce adds $6,000 to $15,000 to any band. Half at acceptance, half at launch. Every band includes everything above.

Essential or Standard? Essential assembles your site from a library of patterns we have already built, tested and made accessible, with your brand applied. It is the right choice for most local service businesses that need a site that works and converts. Standard starts with a custom design on a live canvas, for businesses whose brand or offer needs a layout of its own. Both launch with the same gates, accessibility and foundation.

05 After launch

What a build connects to.

Voyager/WordPress

The platform it launches on

Every build launches on the Managed WordPress Platform: hosting, weekly tested updates, daily backups, monitoring and a monthly report on what your site did.

What comes next

The handover is also where we talk about what comes next: getting found (SEO), getting named in AI answers (AI Visibility), or keeping it fed (Content System).

06 Questions

What people ask about websites.

What is the difference between Essential and Standard?

Essential assembles your site from our pattern library with your brand, one revision round, your copy. Standard starts with a custom design and two rounds. Both launch with the same gates, accessibility and foundation.

Why not Wix or Squarespace?

For a simple brochure, use them. For structured data, AI crawler access, custom content types and a real content program, the platform becomes the ceiling.

Do you use Elementor or Divi?

No. Block themes on our own parent theme, with patterns your team can edit safely.

How long does it take?

Six to eight weeks for Essential, ten to twelve for Standard, when approvals come back within five business days. Each day past that moves the schedule, and the scope says so.

Can I host it somewhere else?

Builds launch on our platform, which is what keeps them updated, monitored and accessible. You own the site and can take a full export any time.

Who writes the copy?

You, or Content System, or a scoped content package. We place and structure it.

Is accessibility really included?

Yes, to WCAG 2.2 AA on every template, scanned and checked by hand.

How do payments work?

Half at acceptance, half at launch. No milestone invoices in between. The Operating Audit fee is credited to your deposit within 90 days.

I have a prototype from an AI app builder. Can you use it?

If you built something in Base44, Lovable or Bolt and cannot host, secure or extend it, we convert it into a WordPress site on the platform. The prototype becomes our discovery.
