How Voyager engagements work.

The terms most agencies put in a proposal after the sales call, published here before it. Rates, contract length, who owns what, what you receive every month, and what happens to your data.

Rates are published

Every service Voyager sells has its rate on its page and on the rate card at /services/. Retainers are quoted as monthly figures. Fixed engagements are quoted as fixed fees. Custom builds are quoted as a published floor with the scope agreed in writing before the first invoice. There is no rate that requires a call to learn.

If a rate changes, the page changes first and existing engagements are notified in writing at least one billing cycle before the new rate applies.

Terms are monthly

Retainers run month to month. There is no minimum term and no early exit fee. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Annual plans on the Managed WordPress Platform are prepaid for the discount and run to the end of the paid term.

Fixed engagements are scoped and priced in writing before they start. The Operating Audit is a fixed fee credited in full toward a subsequent engagement. Custom builds are half at start, half at launch.

Every account is in your name

The following are registered to the client from the first day of any engagement. Voyager holds delegated access, which the client can revoke at any time.

  • Domain. Registered in your name at a registrar you control.
  • Hosting account. Your Managed WordPress Platform account, in your name.
  • WordPress administration. You hold an administrator account. Voyager’s access is a separate, removable user.
  • Google Business Profile. Owned by your Google account. Voyager is a manager.
  • Analytics and Search Console. Properties owned by your Google account. Voyager is a user.
  • Advertising accounts. Owned by your account. Voyager is a managing user.
  • Content. Every page, post, and asset published on your site is yours.
  • Design files and code. Your child theme, design tokens, pattern library, and documentation are delivered to you and remain yours.

If Voyager finds an account held by a previous vendor, reclaiming it into your name is part of the work, not an extra.

What you receive every month

Every retainer produces one report a month. It states what ran, what it produced, and what is next. Every figure carries its source and its date range. Where a number did not move, the report says so and says what changes as a result.

The report is built from the same data Voyager works from, and the dashboard behind it is open to you at any time. There is no version of the numbers that Voyager sees and you do not.

How your data is handled

Voyager’s platform runs on infrastructure Voyager operates, behind Cloudflare. Client data stays in the client’s accounts wherever the work allows; where Voyager’s systems hold client data (site health, lead records, report history), it is held for the engagement and exported to you on request or at exit. Voyager does not sell, share, or train models on client data. Automated systems that touch customers run under rules you set and are reviewed by a person before they go live.

When an engagement ends

You keep everything. Accounts are already in your name. Voyager removes its access, delivers any exports, and hands over documentation for anything Voyager built. Sites on the Managed WordPress Platform can be migrated to another host; Voyager provides a full backup and a thirty-day transition window.

Questions

Why publish this?

Because buyers decide before they call. The terms are the same for everyone, so there is no reason to hide them until a proposal.

Is there a contract?

Yes, a short one, and it says what this page says. It is available before any payment.

What if Voyager’s standards change?

This page changes first, with a dated note, and current clients are notified in writing.

Do these standards apply to the Managed WordPress Platform self-serve plans?

Yes. Checkout accepts the same terms; nothing is different for a self-serve account.
