SVC · 05 · BUILD
A site built like infrastructure. Designed like it matters.
A bespoke WordPress build, end to end: strategy, design, code, content migration, launch. Fixed-price, scoped in writing, built by the senior operators who will actually ship it. The deliverable is a site your team can run — not a beautiful thing only its builder understands.
02
What this is
Not a redesign. A rebuild with a reason.
Most agency web projects are redesigns: the site gets prettier, the invoice gets paid, and the underlying problems — the page nobody can edit, the plugin stack nobody understands, the build only one freelancer can touch — come along for the ride. Eighteen months later you’re scoping the next redesign.
We build sites the way we run infrastructure: scoped in writing before work starts, designed against what your buyers need to do, coded so your team can maintain it, and documented at handoff. The strategy work is part of the build, not a separate consulting line item — sixty minutes of discovery, a scope you sign, then shipped work.
Who it’s for: service businesses whose site has structural problems a theme swap won’t fix — or whose growth has outrun what their current site can carry. Who it’s not for: anyone who needs a brochure site by Friday, wants to art-direct pixel by pixel, or is shopping on price alone. At a $15,000 fixed price there are cheaper builders; there are not many who hand you a site your own team can run.
03

04
How it runs
Scope. Design. Build. Ship.
Fixed price means the scope discipline happens up front, where it belongs. Timeline is scoped per project — bespoke work that promises one-size-fits-all dates is lying about one of the two.
01
Scope
Discovery call, structured intake, written scope with the out-of-scope list in plain sight. You sign the scope, not a vibe. The first milestone is committed here: scope locked and a staging environment live before the project midpoint.
FIRST
02
Design
Site architecture, design system, key templates. Reviewed with you at fixed checkpoints — feedback lands at the checkpoint, not as a rolling thread that never closes.
SCOPED PER PROJECT
03
Build
The build happens on a staging environment you can click through the whole time. No big reveal, no curtain. You watch the site become real.
• SCOPED PER PROJECT
04
Ship + handoff
Launch checklist executed, content migrated, redirects live. Then the handoff session: your team, the documentation, and a site they can run. If you want it hosted and maintained after, that’s Managed WordPress Platform at $90/mo — not a surprise retainer.
LAUNCH
05
What it costs
From $15,000, fixed-price. Scoped in writing before we start.
Fixed price, not hourly — because hourly billing on a bespoke build pays the builder for the project running long. The scope discipline is the product.
Custom Web Build
from $15,000 project
Fixed scope, signed before build
- Discovery + written scope
- Bespoke design system and templates
- Custom WordPress build, staging throughout
- Content migration with redirects
- Launch checklist + documented handoff
Best for: service businesses whose site has problems a theme swap won’t fix.
Post-launch hosting and maintenance available as Managed WordPress Platform ($90/mo) — separate engagement, never bundled silently.
06
Common questions
Answered honestly.
How long does a build take?
Scoped per project, and we put the dates in the written scope — a bespoke build that promises a one-size-fits-all timeline is lying about the bespoke part or the timeline. What’s structural: the scope is locked and a staging environment is live before the project midpoint, so you’re never waiting on a big reveal.
Why ‘from’ $15,000?
Because scope varies and pretending otherwise produces change-order ambushes. The price for your project is fixed in the written scope before build starts — ‘from’ is honesty about the range, not a teaser rate.
Can you work with our existing brand?
Yes. The design system we build extends your brand into a working site vocabulary — type scale, components, states. If you don’t have a brand to extend, we’ll tell you that on the discovery call, because building a site on top of that gap wastes the build.
Who maintains the site after launch?
Your team can — that’s the point of the editor experience and the handoff documentation. If you’d rather not, Managed WordPress Platform ($90/mo) covers updates, security, monitoring, and backups. Your call, made separately, never bundled silently.
Do you build on page builders?
We build custom, with an editing experience tailored to your content — which is usually lighter and faster than a general-purpose page builder. The test we hold ourselves to: someone on your team edits any page without calling us.
Our last agency disappeared after launch. What’s different?
Structurally: you hold the code, the documentation, and the admin access from day one, so nothing about your site depends on our continued existence. Commercially: post-launch support is an explicit engagement you choose, not an implied favor that quietly expires.
